Funding Options
Cost of Counselling May Be Covered
Sessions may be covered by a variety of funding options. If you have been in a car or vehicle accident, are a victim of crime, have access to FNHA funds, or are connect to an EAP through work, you may have sessions partly or completely covered.

Autism Funding
As per the Government of BC., funding for chidren with Autism is available in BC. Families can use funding toward eliglbe intervention services that best suit their child’s needs, including counselling services. For more information or to apply for funding, click here
Crime Victim Assistance Program
If you have been physically or emotionally hurt as a result of a violent crime, you may be entitled to financial assistance.
Criteria:
- An immediate family member was the victim of a crime within the last 12 months
- An immediate family member was the victim of a crime more than 12 months in the past, but you could not reasonably have applied for assistance before now
- You were the victim of a crime within the last 12 months
- You were the victim of a crime more than 12 months in the past, but you could not reasonably have applied for assistance before now
- You are under the age of 19 and have been the victim of any crime at any time
- You were the victim of a sexual offence any time after July 1, 1972

Extended Health Benefits
First Nations Health Authority
According to the FNHA website, benefits are available to those who are:
- First Nations people with Indian status
- A resident of British Columbia
Non-Status Individuals may be eligible if they or a family member are a former student of a Residential School or Day School, or are experiencing trauma or distress due to missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls in Canada.
Individuals are not eligible for Health Benefits if they are already covered by another third-party health insurance provided by the Federal Government or by a First Nations organization as part of a funding agreement.

Metis Nation British Columbia (MNBC)
Through their Metis Counselling Connection Program, prospective clients can apply for MNBC funding for counselling services. For more information, please email us or click here to apply.

Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC)
Services through VAC can be provided to:
- Canadian Armed Forces Veterans
- Former members of the RCMP
- their families, and
- their caregivers
