Relationship counselling can help you and the people closest to you find ways to communication, experience conflict and find easier ways to connect with each other. Relationship counselling is unique in that the appointments are a mix of personal appointments and appointments with all involved in the relationship. Generally, we will meet together first, then one on one for an appointment before coming back together. Family Relationships

Family relationships can be some of the most difficult ones we can face, with parent-child or sibling relationships being at the top of that list for many. Counselling for family-based relationships can be either an individual exploration or done with your family member(s). There is no age limit to when people can come in for family related counselling. We often times work with parents and their adult children in working towards repair of a harmed relationship. Regardless of the concern, counselling can be a way to explore the past and present, and work towards your goals and a general sense of peace.

Friendships or Working Relationships

One set of skills we are not overtly taught is how to be a good friend. There is trial and error throughout our childhood and teen years, and this informs how we behave towards others for our adult years. Sometimes, we form maladaptive habits and see a recurring cycle in our friendships. If you are struggling to maintain friendships, or to find healthy ones, counselling is a good option.
